Very exciting news Anne fans!!

Actors James Franco and Anne Hathaway will cohost this season’s Oscar ceremony, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced. Telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer have decided to continue the two-host trend from last year’s show, when Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin shared emceeing duties. But they clearly seem to be courting a different generation: Franco and Hathaway’s combined age (61) is less than Steve Martin’s.

Anne Hathaway showed her support during a recent evening with The Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation where she addressed her role as a Parkinson’s patient in her new film Love & Other Drugs. The Bachmann-Strauss Foundation invited their generous supporters to join Anne Hathaway over an intimate dinner at Il Postino, followed by a screening of her movie at The Japan Society. Anne introduced the film by speaking about her experience playing the character of Maggie, the importance of bringing awareness to both Parkinson’s disease and dystonia and how proud she is to be involved with The Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation.

Exciting news Anne fans!  Anne wll be gracing the cover of yet another magazine this year.  I just received notice that she is featured in the December/January issue of Gotham Magazine.  Unfortunately, no one in my area sells this magazine but I will do my best to get scans for us as soon as possible.  Perhaps one of our loyal visitors will be able to donate them to us.  For now, a very small sneak peek of the cover has been added to the gallery.  Enjoy!
