It seems like it’s always the toys giving away some of the big surprises in the superhero universe right now. Such is the case with “The Dark Knight Rises,” as leaked Hot Wheels filings revealed that the flying vehicle in the movie will be called The Bat and, now, the full Catwoman costume — and its many additional assets — has been revealed.

Toy blog Idle Hands snapped some photos of the figurine offerings from DC Direct while they were at Toy Fair 2012, and the most exciting statue among them — at least for we “The Dark Knight Rises” fans — was the 12? shot of Catwoman crouching on the ground.

There are two big reveals in this that have been teased in the past about Catwoman’s outfit. First, her thigh-high boots with silver stiletto knife-heels. The woman knows how to make even the most impractical boots now seem practical. And second, between this statue and some of the other busts and figurines Idle Hands reveals, we get to see how Catwoman’s goggles flip up to turn into her “cat ears.” Again, practicality over style.

This backs up what Anne Hathaway said about the Catwoman outfit back in December. She said that haters of the costume could keep on hating, because the outfit was probably the most intelligently designed one in the entire Batman movie canon.

“I love the costume,” Hathaway said in an interview with Hero Complex. “I love the costume because everything has a purpose, nothing is in place for fantasy’s sake, and that’s the case with everything in Christopher Nolan’s Gotham City.”

The star of Ella Enchanted and The Princess Diaries will appear in the film adaptation of David Nicholls’ popular novel One Day, about a working-class woman’s romance with a charming rich man, played by Jim Sturgess.

The movie begins filming this summer. It will be directed by Lone Scherfig, an Oscar nominee for An Education.

The project was announced Tuesday by Focus Features and Random House Films, which have a partnership.

Though his girlfriend Anne Hathaway hasn’t made any statement in this matter but it is surely going to hurt her image as her previous relationship with Italian Real Estate developer Raffaello Follieri also didn’t ended well.

Follieri was arrested on the charges of making fraud promises to the investors and stealing their millions to sustain his lifestyle. He also made the investors believed that he has connection with the Vatican.

But Shulman incident is definitely going to be another shocker for her. The Dukes of Hazzards star has been given a warning by Ken Hart, President of H&H Builders the owners of the stolen artwork that he has to return the artwork soon or else they will report the matter to the police.

It seems that Hathaway’s boyfriend’s loves to play dirty and the only person whose image and life will come under media scanner is our sweet little innocent Miss. Hathaway.

Rumors sparked that Raffaello Follieri, who is currently in prison for fraud, is writing the actress love letters from the cell, but Hathaway has moved on.

The Bride Wars star has been seen with Adam Shulman, who is not happy about Raffaello trying to weasel back in.

“Anne is incredibly happy with Adam, but Raffaello isn’t giving up,” a source told. “He’s written Anne several letters from prison begging her to wait for him. She’s way over him and has never written back, but Adam is furious.Adam demanded Anne write Raffaello and tell him it’s over for good. But Anne doesn’t want to give Raffaello any attention at all.”And it sounds like Raffaello has no chance. “There’s no way she’d ever take him back, and she’s hoping he’ll forget about her. Raffaello’s letters are causing a rift in their relationship. But Anne refuses to give in to Adam’s demand to write Raffaello. She adores Adam, and as far as she’s concerned, the Raffaello chapter of her life is closed.”

There is no question that Anne is absolutely gorgeous, but this humble actress doesn’t necessarily think so. “I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head. But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up… I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important,” she says.But don’t get her wrong — she still loves to dress up and believes in keeping up her appearance. “If I don’t work out at all, I have too much curve and no tone—which is not OK. It’s about finding balance,” she says. As far as her style goes, she admits there’s a time and place for everything. “In the evening it would never occur to me to go out in motorcycle boots like this. It’s pretty clear that Anne has got it all under control. With a fresh outlook on herself and her career, she admits she’s happy. “I’m enjoying myself very, very, very much. Happiness is a nice feeling.”

The Devil Wears Prada actress is set to glam-up the nominations, which will be announced on February 2nd.

The hot A-lister will be joined by the not-so-glamorous Academy president, Tom Sherak.

But the bad news for Hathaway is that she’ll have to get up extremely early that day to read the nominations at 5:30am in Los Angeles (1:30pm in the UK).

Nominees will have just over a month after the announcement to plan their outfits, as the actual Academy Awards ceremony takes place on March 7 at the Kodak Theatre in LA.

“You can confirm it,” said Clifford N. Murray ’10, the theatrical organization’s president, in an interview with The Crimson on Wednesday. Murray referred further comment to press manager David J. Smolinsky ’11.

The Pudding selected Hathaway, 27, for her background in and commitment to theater, as well as her ability to play characters whose personalities and situations widely vary, according to Smolinsky.“What impressed us the most has definitely been her range and the ability with which she can play such diverse characters,” Smolinsky said, citing her roles in films ranging from comedies such as Get Smart to more serious films like The Devil Wears Prada and Brokeback Mountain.

Smolinsky also said that the Pudding was impressed by Hathaway’s background in the arts.

“She grew up in musical theater,” he said, noting that she performed in a public performance of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in New York City.

Hathaway will be honored in a parade from The Inn at Harvard on Mass. Ave. to the New College Theater at 12 Holyoke Street on Jan. 28 at 2:30 p.m. Following the parade, Murray and Vice President of the Cast Derek Mueller ’10 will lead a roast of the Oscar nominee.

Hathaway started her career in the television series “Get Real” but only began gaining recognition when she took the role of princess-to-be Mia Thermopolis in the 2001 film The Princess Diaries. She subsequently played a supporting role in 2005′s critically acclaimed Brokeback Mountain and in 2006′s The Devil Wears Prada.

In 2008, Hathaway played the role of Kym in Rachel Getting Married—a role that earned her nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a drama.

Smolinsky declined to comment on the status of the decision on the Pudding’s Man of the Year winner.
