Anne Hathaway plans to take her dad as her date to this year’s Oscars.

“I’m taking my dad and hopefully, if I can squeeze a few more tickets…” she told People.com at the 81st annual Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills. “This is my first, maybe my only, time going. Hopefully not! My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I definitely wanted them by my side. I’m going to see if I can take my brother and my mum.”

The 26-year-old actress has been nominated for the Best Actress gong for her role in indie film Rachel Getting Married.
